3 Tips for Your New Year Countdown at the Beach:
1. Bring a towel
To get the best experience, it’s important that you are comfortable. Bring a towel with you to sit on the sand. We spent at least 30 minutes waiting and watching the fireworks.
2. Bring a light jacket/cover-up
The sea breeze at night might be chilly. It might be a good idea to bring a light jacket or a cover-up.
3. Go to the beach early
If you want to get a good spot at the beach and to have enough legroom, come in early. The fireworks display will be at the middle of the Waikiki Beach.
