Bucket List

Being a kid at heart, I have always kept a bucket list.  I’m looking forward to the days that I’d be able to experience them and cross them off.  Luckily for me, I’ve already crossed off some items. Please excuse some of my shallow items, I get amused easily. 🙂

  1. See the Northern Lights
  2. Snow – You read it right! Growing up in a tropical country, it’s common to dream of seeing the snow and having a white Christmas.  We only experience it through movies.  I remember my first time of snow, I was in Korea with my friends. We were so crazy happy that we were literally jumping up and down and catching all the snowflakes we can get with our hands and faces. LOL  Now that we’ve moved to Canada, it’s an endless supply of snow!
  3. Go skiing and snowboarding
  4. Go skydiving
  5. Ride a snowmobile
  6. Dogsledding – I took that picture above and that was my POV ♥
  7. Travel to Finland and go reindeer sledding
  8. Fly First Class
  9. Eurotrip!!! – London, Italy, Amsterdam, Belgium.  This is half done!  We’ve crossed out Amsterdam and Belgium from our list. Yay!
  10. Go on Carribean Cruise
  11. Malaysia and Thailand (Spa)
  12. Watch a Lantern Festival
  13. Dine at any Michelin star restaurant of Chef Ramsay and meet him
  14. Spontaneously book a flight
  15. Learn a third language (maybe French)
  16. Learn to swim in the beach without goggles and lifevest – There’s always a first time, right?  This one was crossed out in Bahamas! 🙂 It felt so liberating when we were able to snorkel without a lifevest.
  17. Fly on a helicopter
  18. Fly an ultralight
  19. Start a charity
  20. Start our business
  21. Witness a meteor shower – This one’s a big adventure complete with the pick-up truck, blanket, and pillows!
  22. Getting featured in TV or magazine
  23. Getting asked for an ID at age 40
  24. Being part of Harry Potter’s world and drinking that BUTTERBEER – I didn’t know that it was remotely possible until I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando. ♥
  25. Swimming with the sharks – I didn’t think I would be including “swimming with the sharks” in my bucketlist but, guess what, we did it!

From time to time, new items get added to my list.  I love that my bucket list inspires me to do more.  It also keeps me dreaming which is a good thing, right?

Tell me, what’s in your bucket list? 🙂

  1. I love this — especially the way that you are marking off your accomplishments. My favorite is #22. You’ve inspired me to sit down and to create my own bucket list.

    1. Thanks Kara! Share with us your bucket list once you’re ready. 🙂

  2. I love your blog Jen! My husband and I are doing something similar, we have been travelling for 3 years non-stop now, we afford it by working online, we have no home, we just stay in airbnbs and hotels! I will be launching my own blog soon about how to make money while travelling where I will be sharing all my hacks to travel for cheap! Thanks to you! You inspired me!
