All Things Lovely at the Terre Bleu Lavender Farm

If you love all things pretty and dainty or you know someone who does (girlfriend or wife), take a quick trip to a lavender farm.  Luckily for us, there is one close to Toronto called Terre Bleu Lavender Farm.  We drove there last weekend and it was a lovely experience. ♥

With lavenders in full bloom, Terre Bleu Lavender Farm makes the perfect scenery for a photoshoot.

Their lavender fields are absolutely gorgeous!  Rows after rows of lavenders filled the farm.  They have forest trails, gazebo, and horse stables. The place is very beautiful, in fact, that Terre Bleu Lavender Farm is usually booked for private shoots.

My favorite part of the Terre Bleu Lavender Farm is the Yellow Bench Trail.  They did a fantastic job of adding the cutest art installations at the forest trail and lavender field.  These brought a bright pop of color in the most unexpected places.

In the middle of the lavender field, there is a big, bright yellow door. It’s the most popular attraction.  Guests line up to take a picture of this quirky, mysterious door.

Aside from its beauty, its heavenly floral scent is evident.

As soon as we walked across the lavender field, we smelled the light scent of lavender.

It felt good and relaxing to bask in its fragrance but we were also cautious not to be stung by honey bees.

Lavender Products

Make sure to stop by their store.  They sell various lavender products which are perfect as souvenirs!  They have lavender honey, lavender macarons, lavender bath soaps, and dried bouquets.

Don’t miss out their deliciously unique lavender ice cream ($5).  It has a light lavender taste which is very refreshing!  We really enjoyed their lavender ice cream.

Overall, our trip to Terre Bleu Lavender Farm was worth it!  It was a delightful experience to see the beautiful lavender fields and to smell the actual scent of lavender.  We had a great time taking photos since there are several areas that can be used as background.  Their store offered amazing lavender products including the lavender ice cream that hit the right spot!

Tips:

– Visit the lavender farm when they are in full bloom and before a harvest
– For commercial photography, you need to get a permit and book in advance
– Admission fee includes a guided tour: $10/adult on weekends and public holidays and $8/adult on Fridays and Mondays

Pin it for later
