The Venetian Las Vegas
The Venetian is located at the Las Vegas Strip. It is a 15-min drive from the McCarran International Airport. If you are renting a car, you would need to ride the free shuttle from the airport to the car rental.
The Venetian is a 5-star all-suite resort. Room rates fluctuate depending on the reservation date and type of suite. Sundays-Thursdays usually have lower rates.
In The Venetian lobby, the Armillary Sphere is set as a magnificent centerpiece.
Its grandeur is distinct as we walked through the hallways that are embellished with gold, pillars and chandeliers. Its high ceilings are decorated with beautiful intricate frescoes.
Bella Suite
We stayed at the Bella Suite. It was a large and spacious room with 700 sq. ft area. It had two queen-size beds, living room, two TVs (bedroom and living room) and an Italian marble bathroom.
The queen-size beds were comfortable to sleep in. It was too cozy, in fact, that we weren’t able to wake up on time! We were only supposed to take a quick nap because we were exhausted from our first night in Vegas.
The bathroom is also spacious with 130 sq. ft area. It had two vanity sinks, bathtub and shower. Its golden accessories and marble design reminded me of our stay at St. Regis New York.
There was also a separate powder area inside the bathroom. I liked this time-saving arrangement because guests could still use the vanity sinks while someone prepares her hair and makeup.
The living room had two individual chairs, sofa, coffee table, office desk and a dining table. I liked everything about it except for the outdated design.
View from the Bella Suite
The shades in the living room were operated using a remote control. Our suite showcased a beautiful view of the mountains, pools and The Palazzo. This was my favorite part of the suite. It’s the best hotel view I have seen so far.
Pools of The Venetian
The extreme heat in Las Vegas could not stop the guests from dipping into the gorgeous pools of The Venetian and getting a tan on the comfortable lounge chairs.
Grand Canal Shoppes
The Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian and The Palazzo features world class dining, signature stores and luxury brands. You can also ride the romantic gondola for $24/person.
It’s my second time in Grand Canal Shoppes but I’m still amazed by its charm and beauty. The vibrant ceiling is lit up by the painting of bright blue sky and clouds. The light posts and establishments are elegant and sophisticated.
If you’re not in the mood for spending, you can relax and watch performances by talented singers, actors and musicians. You can check their schedule here.
