DIY Chocolate Drizzled White Cheddar Popcorn

Friday night is movie night!♥  We decided to stay in the hotel and watch Harry Potter in preparation for our upcoming trip to Universal Studios Orlando. *squeal*

We wanted to watch the movie with our favorite popcorn (Smartfood’s Chocolate & Caramel Drizzle Popcorn) but we can’t find it in any grocery store.  Sadly, it’s offered for a limited time only.  Seriously, why introduce a very good product and then take it away?  Please bring it back and remove another flavor instead.  Pleaseee…..

To compensate for the missing popcorn, we made our own version of the chocolate drizzled popcorn and it was a SUCCESS!♥

Ingredients:

• Smartfood Butter Popcorn (we prefer Smartfood popcorn because it’s healthier than other brands and it tastes great!)
• 2 bars of milk chocolate (Neilson Jersey Milk is a good brand to make melted chocolate)
• White cheddar popcorn seasoning
• 2-3 tbsp of milk

Step 1:  Place 2 bars of milk chocolate and 2-3 tbsp of milk in a mug.  

 

Step 2:  Microwave for 30 seconds.  Mix well.

 

Step 3:  Drizzle (generously!) the melted chocolate on top of the popcorn.

 

Step 4:  Dust with white cheddar popcorn seasoning.  Enjoy!

 

Now, we have our very own chocolate drizzled popcorn!  The saltiness of the white cheddar popcorn seasoning balances the sweetness of the melted milk chocolate.♥
